Yes — natively. We push denied defaults for ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and analytics_storage before any other tag fires, then update on user action. A GTM template is provided.
How big is the script?+
Under 12 KB gzipped, hard-enforced in CI. The current build sits around 6 KB. There is no second blocking request — the banner renders within ~60 ms.
Will it slow down my site?+
No. The script is loaded async, renders inside a Shadow DOM with position: fixed so it can't cause Cumulative Layout Shift, and respects prefers-reduced-motion.
Is it GDPR compliant out of the box?+
Yes. Default behaviour in EEA is opt-in with granular categories, no pre-ticked consent boxes. Decisions are stored with timestamp, locale, and version so you have an audit trail.
Can I customize the banner?+
Fully — colors, layout (banner / modal / floating), copy, position, language. Brand it once via the dashboard or pass the config inline as JSON.
